Is pool heating included in the price?

In peak summer it is generally not needed and not charged. In spring, autumn and winter it is usually a stated weekly supplement or metered by electricity — every listing spells out its own terms before payment.

What temperature does the pool reach?

Typically 26–30°C, depending on the pool size, air temperature and whether a cover is used overnight. Heat pumps work best when nights stay above 8–10°C, so mid-winter warmth is more modest.

How far in advance should heating be requested?

Tell us at booking or at least a week before arrival — a heat pump needs 2–3 days to bring a large pool up to temperature.

How villa pool heating works

Almost all of these pools use an air-source heat pump; a few larger estates run solar-assisted systems. Heating is switched on for your dates and, outside the summer months, is normally charged as a supplement per week or metered on the electricity — the listing states which, and the amount, before you book. In July and August most guests switch it off; the sun does the job.
