Hillside villas where the pool's edge dissolves into the Mediterranean — Kalkan, Kaş and Fethiye
An infinity pool is the signature of a Kalkan villa holiday. The town climbs an amphitheatre of hillside above the bay, so a pool built to the edge of the terrace appears to pour straight into the sea below. Every villa on this page has one, checked by us in person — not a stock photo, not a shared hotel pool.
The best examples pair the vanishing edge with a south- or west-facing terrace, so the water reflects the sunset over Kalamar Bay or the Kaş peninsula. Look for the pool size on each listing: eight-metre plunge pools suit a couple, while the twelve-metre-plus pools with a shallow ledge are the ones families come back for. Most sit in gated gardens with sun loungers, an outdoor kitchen and shaded dining under a pergola.
Kalkan and the hilltop village of İslamlar hold the steepest plots and therefore the most dramatic drops; Kaş offers quieter peninsula views, and Fethiye adds the Ölüdeniz lagoon on the horizon. Whichever you choose, booking direct means the price you see is the price you pay — no platform commission layered on top.
